NOV 7 th is the big MTV race !

  Its coming up !   You can pre-reg at www.truesport.com  and also day of the event.   Its going to be an exciting race, a 1/4 of the Hoosier cross series !  Also, as a last minute addition, Luna Music has come on to sponsor us with some prizes !

New Course design at MTV

  Variety is the spice of life !  The new taped parts of the course at MTV look awesome, and certainly make the course fun to ride. Bike handling is a premium !

JOACHIM !

Just got word that Joachim Parbo is coming in on Thursday too.  He’ll be on same program as the rest of the guys.

 

Joachim is the Danish National Cyclocross Champion.  He has been on Zipp for the last two seasons.

Personal notes on ‘cross this week and beyond…

 

  FYI…I will be on the road wednsday, and will miss the MTV practice.  Saturday is a cancer awareness event at MTV, so the race is canceled (actually, never scheduled) . And Oct 21 i will be at SRAM training in Colorado Springs, and Oct 24 / 25 is UCI race in Lville which I will be helping the SRAM support there.  Please take the lead where needed.

   Also,  Oct 18 is the Btown OVCX , so plan your taper accordingly.  And did you guys see the nice Katie Compton blurb in Nuvo ?!

Im still buzzin’ from the KfC visit

  Thursday was awesome !!!!   Katie Compton is really cool, and really knows her shit about ‘cross. She  blew my mind.  From her working knowledge of Dugast tire choices,  the best tire pressures for a given course, good corning technique, insightful instruction on fast dismounts, and calling out the best women cross racers in the world for thier stregths and weaknesses,  I was just so thrilled to be at the event.

Its Not Raining Yet…

Im looking forward to meeting KfC today…the forcast is for a bit of rain, which is OK in ‘cross ! Should it become really heavy, we can still have a discussion/clinic at the Major Taylor meeting room, same time, ect.   I have had questions & comments from people as far away as Chicago for this event, so Im hoping for a good turn out of enthusiastic people…see you there.
